After two decades of designing innovative play products for Hasbro, Fisher-Price and Chicco, Jen Long grew alarmed at the amount of plastics her industry produces. After much soul searching she decided to exit industrial design and has pivoted back to her first design love: graphic symbols and typefaces. This love is rooted in childhood, 

After two decades of designing innovative play products for Hasbro, Fisher-Price and Chicco, Jen Long grew alarmed at the amount of plastics her industry produces. After much soul searching she decided to exit industrial design and has pivoted back to her first design love: graphic symbols and typefaces. This love is rooted in childhood, where she spent many happy hours teaching herself to draw letters that looked like they were typed, and copying symbols like Mr. Peanut. Combining that essential fascination with her renowned strengths in collaboration, ideation and style, she looks forward to working with you to bring out your brand's best possible visual identity!

Design Process

 Designing a strong visual identity requires a process of research, ideation, refinement and style guide delivery. Each phase is important and needs to be given its due time and attention. 

Research is all about getting to know you and your mission, and how you see yourself in the world. We'll also take a look at how similar missions prese

 Designing a strong visual identity requires a process of research, ideation, refinement and style guide delivery. Each phase is important and needs to be given its due time and attention. 

Research is all about getting to know you and your mission, and how you see yourself in the world. We'll also take a look at how similar missions present themselves in the world, to make sure your identity stands out!

Ideation takes a few rounds of brainstorming and sketching for the central logo around which the identity is wrapped. We reach way out and dive deep in, and create multiple options.

Then we evaluate them all for a final direction, and refine it.
